Exhibition learnings
Posted by Ian Everett on Tuesday Jul 16, 2013 Under UncategorizedThis month has been varied for work with projects in exhibition taking up most of our time.
Always something new to learn or be reminded of, we often produce images on Foamex and pin to a backdrop or print direct onto canvas when covering a large area with an image, on this event wallpaper was used on MDF backing boards. The benefit and result is a flat texture free image that lights evenly.
Display technology is changing all the time, it is amazing the quality of image reproduction, new technology is on demo ahead of mass production, a 95’’ screen that 2 men can install used in a portrait view in this application, that would have been impossible only a short while ago unless using projection equipment.
A couple of nice comments from customers this week appreciating our work
‘’always diligent and hardworking and your attention to detail and constant drive were amazing’’
‘’it was great as always to work with you and I appreciate your calm and support’’
Exhibition work can be hard on the feet, a short rest on a comfy prop sofa – must make sure we get another one on the next event – or a foot spa!
